I set up my 4x5 large format camera in a snow storm to capture this image of the High Lift at Crested Butte. I rigged an umbrella to keep snow off the lens and camera. This image was featured full size in Powder magazine.

I got up at sunrise and captured this image from the deck of my buddy's house overlooking the sound. I needed to wait for the right light and for a ferry to enter the scene. Rainier as the backdrop of Seattle is quite dramatic.
